Tuscany always offers amazing and particular landscapes and towns. This reportage has been made at Civitella della Chiana, a characteristic medieval town that is located on the watershed between Val di Chiana and Val d’Ambra, sadly notorious for the consequences suffered during the Second World War because of the Nazis. Nigel and Rosie wanted to pay tribute celebrating their wedding right here, in the famous Lombard Fortress. Moment of Celebration and Joy for their families and for all citizens.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Tenuta la Pieve, an estate dating 1250 situated in the picturesque landscape of Val d’Ambra, where friends and family could enjoy the Tuscan beauties.
All this has been possible thanks to the wonderful work of Jo Daye of Accent Events, who, with her proper sensitivity and passion, gave birth to this wonderful day.
Thanks also to Rachel of WeddingSmiths who supported the Mayor of Civitella for the translations and the civil ceremony.
But, most of all, a big thank you to Nigel and Rosie, who have  welcomed me for a whole day into their beautiful family,  allowing me to tell their story from the “inside”, just as I like.
