Amalfi Coast Wedding Photographer
Where the sea sets the rhythm of your story.
Amalfi Coast wedding photographer for Elopement, heartfelt wedding & couple photo session
For most couples, the Amalfi Coast is the trip of a lifetime. And every time I arrive here, it still feels like the first.
A coastline that never stops surprising.
There is no place in Italy quite like this one. Vertical villages hanging above the sea. Lemon groves carved into cliffs that should not exist. Light that changes colour every hour — different in Ravello than in Positano, different in April than in September.
Amalfi itself is a small contradiction — a medieval maritime republic that once competed with Pisa, Genoa, Venice and Ragusa. You walk through its streets and ask yourself how it was possible. That question never goes away. And it is precisely that quality — of something extraordinary that shouldn’t exist but does — that makes this coast unlike anywhere else on earth.
I have been photographing weddings and elopements here for years. Not because I was born here. Because every time I arrive, I find something I hadn’t seen before.
The Amalfi Coast is what happens when a dream becomes a destination. For most of the couples who come here, this coastline exists first as a film, a song, a postcard imagined from far away. The Neapolitan light, the smell of the sea mixed with the reserve of the mountains above Ravello, the happiness of people who have finally arrived somewhere they always wanted to be.
That energy is real. And it is part of every story I tell here.
As an Amalfi Coast wedding photographer, my job is not to stage that dream — it is to catch it in the moment it becomes real. The moment you stop looking at the view and start living inside it. That is when the photographs happen.

THE MEMORYMAKER METHOD
Not posing
Not reportage
This is story
Traditional photography focuses on how things look.
Reportage focuses on what happens.
I build a narrative around what it means.
That difference is what you’ll feel in every frame.
PHOTOGRAPHY + STORYTELLING
Cinematic storytelling techniques — framing, light, timing, sequence — applied to real, unscripted moments.
Every choice has a narrative purpose, the way it does in a film.
Your story is studied before the scene begins. Who you are, how you move, what you carry inside. Characters are learned before the first frame is made.
Every moment is read in real time — the angle that makes you feel powerful, the light that reveals what words cannot say, the detail that will matter in twenty years.
The edit is not a selection of beautiful images. It is a sequence — built with the same narrative logic as the day itself. So that every time you watch it, you feel it again.
You are the protagonists. Your world is the stage.
This is not only photography. This is your life, told like a film.
And it will never look like anyone else’s.

Your Amalfi Coast Wedding Photographer
The Amalfi Coast is not a place I photograph on autopilot. Every time I drive down from the hills toward the sea, something shifts. The light is different. The air is different. The way people move and look at each other when they arrive here — that is different too.
I work this coast with the same attention I give to every destination I photograph — but with one additional layer. Here, the logistics are part of the story. The coast road between Amalfi and Positano can close without warning. Transfers that look simple on a map can take an hour in peak season. A ceremony planned for six in the evening can lose its light by five-thirty depending on which side of the cliff you are on.
Knowing these things is not a detail. It is the difference between a day that flows and a day that fights the location.
The seasons matter here more than almost anywhere else I work. March to May and September to October are the months when the Amalfi Coast shows its real face — the light is long, the crowds are manageable, and the colours are extraordinary. July and August are possible but demand careful planning around heat, traffic and the sheer volume of people on the roads and terraces.
I work with a limited number of couples each year. Not as a strategy. Because knowing your story before your day is the only way I know how to work. Before I arrive on the Amalfi Coast with you, I want to know your people, your history, and the connections between you.
What I’m building for you is not a gallery. It’s the deepest legacy you will ever create: the story of how your family began. For the children who weren’t there yet. For the people who will come after.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
A wedding on the Amalfi Coast is not like a wedding anywhere else
The coastline sets the rules. Knowing them changes everything.
Most couples arrive with a beautiful idea: a ceremony on a terrace above the sea, dinner in a lemon garden, portraits at golden hour with Capri on the horizon. That idea is not wrong — it is exactly what this coast can offer.

But the Amalfi Coast operates on its own terms.
The SS163 — the coast road — is one of the most photographed and one of the most congested roads in Italy. In high season, a transfer that looks like twenty minutes on a map can take over an hour. Parking does not exist. Access to certain terraces requires advance booking months ahead. Some venues face west and lose direct light by late afternoon. Others face north and never have it at all.
Ravello sits three hundred metres above the sea — the light there behaves completely differently from Sorrento, which faces southwest and holds golden hour longer than almost anywhere on the coast. These are not minor variations. They determine what your day looks like.
I know which venues face which direction at which hour. I know which transfers are worth the time and which ones are not. I know how to read the season — and why October in Ravello is completely different from October in Sorrento.
This knowledge does not come from a guidebook. It comes from years of working this coast — not as a tourist passing through, but as someone who has learned, through experience, where the story actually happens.
Couples who choose to work with the coast — rather than against it — are the ones whose days I remember most.

If you are looking for someone who will simply show up and photograph what’s in front of them, I am probably not the right person.
If you are looking for someone who will help you design a day that uses this coastline properly — we should talk.

Where your story will unfold
The Amalfi Coast’s most cinematic locations
Every town is a different character. Every terrace holds a different light. These are the places I keep coming back to — each one with its own rules, its own season, its own story.
Three hundred metres above the sea. Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rufolo, Palazzo Avino — terraces that open onto a horizon without limits. The most cinematic Amalfi Coast wedding location for luxury ceremonies and elopements. Best from April to June and September to October.
Positano
The postcard of the coast. Pastel houses, steep stairways, the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta. Faces southwest — golden hour lasts longer here than almost anywhere else. Logistically complex in high season.
Amalfi
A medieval maritime republic that once competed with Venice and Genoa. The Duomo, the cloisters, the ancient paper mills. A town with more history per square metre than almost anywhere in Italy.
The other side of the peninsula — and a completely different experience. Open sunsets, lemon groves, the view of Vesuvius across the bay. Less crowded than the Amalfi side. The light stays longer. A place I love for its authenticity.
Vico Equense
The first town coming from Naples. A medieval castle and church perched dramatically above the sea. April to October, with some of the most dramatic sunset light on the entire coast.
Accessible only by boat. Luxury, intimacy, and the Faraglioni. For couples who want something completely apart from the mainland coast.
