a little intro
I like to shoot this kind of destination wedding. Infact I love relaxed destination weddings, especially the ones in Italy. Firstly for funny peoples, sunny days and beautiful landscape views and for the planning time as well. Nicholas and Maria like it in the same way. Consequently they are flew in Italy from Canada for realize their “relaxed” dream wedding.
about the wedding
The venue that they have chosen for their “Big Day” is an typical Tuscan Villa in Petrognano. A very intimate and isolated place near Florence where you can fully enjoy the Tuscan landscape. I like it very much.
As usual I arrived early and this allowed me to see all the suppliers at work.
How many people are required to making an event special. However very often we don’t realize how many there are. First of all there are the catering staff, the lights staff, then the ones dedicated to the sound, the musicians, the florists, and finally who makes the decorations .. So many people to coordinate. Fortunately, there are wedding planners for this.
I really appreciated the choice of place for the ceremony. A terrace where all the guests can enjoy a beautiful view. Dahlia has been able to realize a good thing for them. Certainly it will be a wonderful memory for all of them.
I prefer to see the newlyweds always celebrate with their guests, talk and laugh with them rather than go with them to make some portraits. I believe that time should flow without interruption in a natural way. The moment to do some portraits I prefer to find in other times, like before dinner, for example. But in this case Nicholas and Maria wanted to have photographs in a particular place so I followed them immediately after the end of the ceremony.
we were quick to get back to their guests right away.
The dinner in the garden, the cutting of the cake, the first dance therefore everything was perfect for this relaxed wedding
grateful for everything
In hindsight I wanted to stay there all night because this was the last marriage I had with my dear friend Leandro.
All this work is dedicated to him.
