a little intro
I have been in this beautiful corner of paradise a lot of times. I like to be here. Every time, it is as if it were the first. Photographing weddings you always discover new things and really interesting places in the Sorrentine Coast.
Creating a unique, unrepeatable and dedicated event is always difficult but in Sorrento it is even harder.
Here Wedding is a huge industry and it is very easy to meet in the same place many newlyweds who’re waiting their turn to be photographed.
About a wedding
When I receive a call from Gio I know for sure that she’s trying to create a dream event for her couple. She really puts her soul into her work and it is an honor for me, as well as a pleasure, working with her.
So I met Matthew and Emma. First of all I followed all creation of their day at a distance, and above all, I trying to give my advice and suggestions where possible.
It’s been very easy to immerse myself in them. Their age, their concerns and their wishes, were the same I had when I decided to get married. I get fond of them as the story took shape and I felt growing in me, as a wedding photographer, the responsibility to restore the magical and unrepeatable story that they wished to live in Sorrento.
After the getting ready at La Minervetta, one of the most charming boutique hotels, (among those that I’ve been lucky enough to visit) overlooking the sea, from which you can enjoy an incredible view, we moved to the Cloister of St. Francis, full of flowers and ornamental plants, the main place of all ceremonies in Sorrento.
Here Matthew and Emma have exchanged their promises during a really exciting ceremony.
After the ceremony and confetti throwing, I decided to hold the couple with me for a while… I wanted them to have an exclusive moment only for themselves. Like as couple starting a new journey, being aware of the importance of that moment.
Finally, together, with the old WW beatle, we headed to the Relais Blu. It is a wonderful and beautiful location set in the wild nature. Exactly in the point that divides the two coasts of Amalfi and Sorrento, in front of the charming island of Capri. Here Gio has prepared for them a party that lasted late into the evening.
grateful for everything
Being Wedding photographer in Sorrento always gives satisfaction. Late in the night, coming back to my hotel, I stopped and looked at the view: the flat sea, the shining moon and the lights of Capri were there, smiling to me. I will never be ungrateful for that.
Best wishes guys!!
